ኲናት ደው ይበል፡ ኣብ ግዝኣተ ሕጊ ዚምስረት ሰላም ይገበር
ብመሰረት ኣህጕራዊ ሕጊ፡ ዘይናትካ መሬት ብሓይሊ ምጕባጥ ተግባር ናይ ወራር ኢዩ። ብሰላማዊ ኣገባብ ምስ ዘይከኣል፡ ንዚተጐብጠ መሬት ብሓይሊ ምምላስ ኰነ ንታህዲዳት ናይ ኣስፋሕፋሒ ወራር ምእላይ፡ ብመሰረት ኣህጕራዊ ሕጊ፡ ግቡእ ተግባራት ናይ ርእሰ-ምክልኻል ኢዩ። ምውሓስ ግዝኣታዊ ምሉእነትን ምእላይ ናይ ህላዌኣዊ ስግኣት ንልዑላውነትን ንረብሓ ህዝቢ ኤርትራን ሃገራዊ ድሕነት ሃገረ ኤርትራን ኢዩ።
ኲናት መንግስታዊ ስልጣን ንምምንዛዕ ይዅን ግዝኣት ንምክልኻል ወይ ንምስፋሕ ዚካየድ መቐጸልታ ፖለቲካ ብጐነጻዊ ኣገባብ ኢዩ። ህወሓት ነዚ ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ዚካየድ ዘሎ ኲናት ዚወልዐት፡ ናብ መንግስታዊ ስልጣን ንምምላስ፡ ንሱ እንተ ዘይሰለጠ ድማ፡ ካብ ክፋላት ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ጐዛዝያ ዚሰፍሐት ናጻ ትግራይ ነጺልካ ንምምስራት ዕላማ ብምግባር ኢዩ። ዋላ ሓደ ካብ ክልቲኡ ኪውቃዕ ዚኽእል ዕላማ ኣይኰነን። እዚ ዘይተኽኣልነት’ዚ ነቲ ኲናት ትርጉም ኣልቦ፣ ነቲ ዘስዕቦ ብርሰት ናይ ንብረት፡ ዕንወት መነባብሮ ህዝቢ ኰነ ሰብኣዊ ስቓይ ድማ ትርጀድያዊ ይገብሮ። እቲ ነቲ ህሉው ስርዓተ ሃገራት ኣብቲ ዞባ ዳግም ንምቕራጽ ዚሕሰብ ዘይጭበጥ ሕልሚ ከኣ ጠንቂ ናይ ቀጻሊ ህውከት፡ ሕዱር ዘይርጉእነትን ዘየድሊ ሓሳረ-መከራን ይኸውን።
ህያው ሰላምን ዕርቅን ንምውሓስ፡ ኲናት ሓድሕድ ኣብ ኢትዮጵያ ኣብ ግዝኣተ ሕጊ ዚምስረት ተሓታትነት ብዘዋድድ ኣገባብ ከብቅዕ ይግባእ። ኣብ መንጎ ካልእ ነገራት፡ ናጻ መርመራ ናይቶም ከም ጽንተት፡ ገበናት ኲናት፡ ገበናት ኣንጻር ሰብኣውነት፡ ገበን ናይ መጥቃዕቲ ዚኣመሰሉ ዚተፈጸሙን ተፈጺሞም ዚበሃሉን ሕመረት ገበናት ኣብ ትሕቲ ኣህጕራዊ ገበናዊ ሕጊ ኪካየድ ይግባእ። እቶም ብጭብጢ ዚተረጋገጹ ገበናት ዚፈጸሙ ድማ ናብ ፍትሒ ቀሪቦም በቲ ዚፈጸሙዎ ገበናት ተሓተትቲ ኪዀኑ ኣለዎም። እቲ ምውሳድ ናይ ከምዚኦም ዚኣመሰሉ ኣድለይቲ ስጕምትታት፡ ነቲ ኣብ ባይታ መን እንታይ ከም ዚገበረ፡ ብሓቂ ኸ እንታይ ከም ዚተፈጸመ ከረጋግጽ፡ ነቲ ሰረት ዘይብሉ ክስታትን ፈጠራዊ ትረኻታትን ናይ ጽንተት ሓንሳብ ንሓዋሩ ግቡእ መዕለቢ ኪገብረሉ ይኽእል።
End the War and Make Peace Based on the Rule of Law
Forcible occupation of territory constitutes an act of aggression under international law. Failing peaceful means, the forceful liberation of occupied territory and the removal of threats of expansionist invasion constitute legitimate acts of self-defence under international law. Securing territorial integrity and removing an existential threat to sovereignty are in the interest of the Eritrean people and the national security of the Eritrean State.
War is the continuation of politics by violent means to seize state power and defend or expand territory. The TPLF triggered the current civil war in Ethiopia with the aim to recapture State power or, failing that, to secede and establish an enlarged independent Tigray carved out of parts of Eritrea and Ethiopia. Neither aim is feasible. This infeasibility renders the war senseless; the attendant destruction of property, devastation of livelihoods and human suffering tragic; and the pipedream to reconfigure the present state system in the region a recipe for continued turmoil, chronic instability, and wanton misery.
The civil war in Ethiopia must thus end in a manner that provides for accountability based on the rule of law to secure viable peace and reconciliation. Among other things, there should be independent investigation of actual and alleged core crimes under international criminal law, such as genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the crime of aggression. Those found to have committed verifiable crimes must be brought to justice and made accountable for their deeds. Such essential measures would establish the facts of who did what and what really happened on the ground and put to rest all unfounded accusations and fabricated narratives of genocide.
