Eritrea is located at the intersection of the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa. Given that events and developments in these highly volatile regions on the Red Sea Basin exert a powerful impact on the situation in and prospects for Eritrea, the Political Organisations Committee in Sweden sponsored the public seminars on "The Impact of Regional Geopolitics on Eritrea" (below) and 'Challenges & Opportunities for Democratic Transition in Eritrea' (available here in English).
