ታሪኽ ይድገም ደኾን ይህሉ ፧
እቶም ፈደረሽን ናብ ምፍራስን ንኤርትራ ናብ ምልሓቕን ዘምርሑ ስጕምትታት ኣብ ሓደ ኣፍታ ኣይተፈጸሙን። ውስጠ-ናጽነት ኤርትራ ቀስ ብቐስ፡ ምስ ግዜ፡ ብምምሽጣር ‘መራሕታ’ ኢዩ ተፋሒቑ። ንልዑላዊ ናጽነት ኤርትራ ብዝምልከት፡ ተመሳሳሊ ተርእዮ ዝኽሰት ዘሎ ይመስል፡- ባዕዳውያን መንግስቲታት ሻምብቆ ነዳዲ ካብ ዓሰብ ናብ ኣዲስ ኣበባ፡ መንገዲ ባቡር ካብ ምጽዋዕ ናብ ኣዲስ ኣበባ ንምህናጽ ስምምዕ ይፍርሙ። ሓደ ባዕዳዊ መራሒ ብዛዕባ ምህላው ‘ሓደ ሰራዊት’ን ‘ሓደ ኤምባስ’ን ንኢትዮጵያ፡ ንኤርትራን ንጂቡትን ይዛረብ! መፈጸምታኡ እንታይ ኮን ይኸውን፧

Could History Be Repeating Itself!
The steps that led to the abolition of the
federation and the eventual annexation of Eritrea did not happen in one go.
Eritrea’s autonomy was eroded incrementally, over time, with the complicity of
its ‘leaders’. A similar phenomenon seems to be on the footing with regards to
Eritrea’s sovereign independence: Foreign governments signing an accord to
build an oil pipeline from Assab to Addis Ababa and agreeing to build a railway
from Massawa to Addis Ababa. A foreign leader talking of having ‘one army’
and ‘one embassy’ for Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti! What is the endgame?
